Australian Chamber Choir By The Waters Of Babylon
Thursday, 15 June 2017
Thursday 15th June, 11am
Internationally renowned for their tours, with 18 fine hand picked voices performing the master-works of JS Bach. The classic hymn By The Waters Of Babylon is no less potent in the 21st century than it was in 500 BCE. Based around Philip Hayes’ 18th century setting of that psalm text which was popularised by Don McClean on his 1971 American Pie Album. The Australian Chamber Choir has commissioned Australian composer, Tom Henry to write a new work on this theme.
Complimentary morning tea is served before each show.
